PARIS - DAKAR RALLY 2009

WAUGHgroup is proud to announce a marketing partnership with the Dorset based Excite Rallye Raid Team.  Local rally driver John Hardy and co-driver, Simon Philbrick, Managing Director of Circle Interiors, Poole, will be entering the 2009 Dakar Rally.  The race stretches over 9,000km mostly in the Sahara Desert and must be covered in less than three weeks.  The team will be racing in a purpose built Desert Warrior (pictured) built by Rally Raid Ltd. of Huddersfield.  The WAUGHgroup are providing a comprehensive  range of branded clothing for the team as well as for the other sponsors.

ST JAMES PLACE MONT BLANC CLIMB  - we are sponsoring Lisa Rowles and the team from St James Place who are climbing Mont Blanc.

In June 2007 fifteen members of St. James's Place will attempt to climb Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in Europe at 4810 metres, with the aim of raising £250,000 for the St. James's Place Foundation.
